To achieve perfect balance, the wine is matured in French oak barriques for 18 months and then in bottle for at least 12 months before release. The award-winning Agricola Punica cellar is a joint venture between four leading figures in Italian wine.

  Karasì is a tribute to the 6,100 year wine tradition of Armenia and to its Areni Noir grape. Its name is a reference to its long aging in traditional large, clay, amphorae (karasì being the Armenian translation “from amphora”). Areni Noir was rediscovered from ancient vines from the abandoned vineyards of a XIII century monastic complex. Originating from the birthplace of viticulture.
